McAPS INCORPORATED MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is simple: make technology an asset for your
business not a problem. Too many times we have seen other integration firms
recommend solutions that are not appropriate for the specific client's business
or will not take a business' operations into their planning as they routinely
bring down an entire business while they perform routine maintenance on a
programmable controller. That is unacceptable. We won't bring you down in the
middle of the day because it is "a better time for us". We work
around your business. We strive to make technology integrate seamlessly with
your business so your business can grow. As your technology partner, when your
business grows ours will grow with you, therefore, we will work hand in hand
with you to support your growth.
McAPS INCORPORATED HISTORY
1999 –
Gary Kelley and Partner form
Machine Control and Process Systems (Mcaps) Incorporated. With more than 40
years combined experience we diversified into many different industries,
Cranes, Plastics, Weigh scale industry, Drilling, and Hazardous duty Air
Conditioners.
2000-
After one year and many projects
completed and others under way we now grew to more than five employees.
2001-
Gary Kelley takes over ownership
of Mcaps Incorporated, retains all of the employees, grows the business
performing, Engineering, Auto-cad drafting services, manufacturing, and
installation and commissioning of automation projects. We have now added two
additional engineers and one additional sales person.
2002-
Machine
Control and Process Systems Inc. changes its legal name to Mcaps Incorporated.
This year we developed a specialized Air-conditioner for one of our customers
high volume needs. During this development we added many other projects to our
project list.
2003-2004
Mcaps
Incorporated has grown too large for the offices we were in and must move. We
decided to move from the north side of Houston to the south side of Houston
into new offices. The major projects we completed this year were 100 ton Gantry
crane on the Aleution Key drilling rig and updating a batching process in a PVC
manufacturing plant.
2005-
Mcaps
Incorporated partners with an OEM in the Drilling industry. Together we land
orders for 10 offshore drilling rigs to provide the hardware and control for
the riser tensioners. In conjunction with these rigs we were also instrumental
in pulling in the Drill String compensators and the Crown block compensators
for four other rigs.
2006-
Mcaps
Incorporated moves in distribution of products purchased from around the world.
In an effort to stay competitive we have put in a computerized structure to
handle the day to day business as well as inventory, a new website containing a
web-store and additional information aboutMcaps Incorporated.
2007-
Mcaps
Incorporated outgrows its new office and begins to look for a larger building.
We decided to build our own building across the street from our offices now. We
have added a climate controlled panel shop and tripled the amount of space for
the warehouse and doubled the office space. We have aligned ourselves with
quality manufactures, OEM’s and other distributors
2008-
Mcaps
Incorporated moves to their new building at 102 Main Street in South Houston.
Since our move we have been able to double our sales and services from the
previous year. We have doubled our personnel since the move. In August of 2008
we will be adding a service group to our company to service Automation systems
and Variable frequency drives.
